May is OK to give a billion to keep her position, but has no interest in the welfare of the people. Cutting welfare at this time ,is the worst thing for families already struggling to make ends meet.
it would seem that we have a culture that does not recognise social responsibility and that we are now in a "I am alright jack f$%k everyone else" attitude..... I hope you dont need help from anyone
Failed austerity measures. Who could have predicted it?Answer: Anyone with a functioning brain, that's who.But in reality, this was the result they were trying for, so I guess they succeeded!
The taxpayer in this country pays quite enough for homeless services. Most people in the world who face hardship are on their own and can't rely on the productivity of others to provide an income. Life is tough
Has increasing number of population got anything to do with this, I wonder. Maybe the time has come, that we should start taking responsibility for our own action. Not having too many children to start with. Government cannot tell us how many children we can have, but we surely can think for ourselves. Some might argue, by saying if we can afford, why not. Problem is, you can afford, but can the country afford to keep up with increasing population. That is why we have austerity, because country keep borrowing more to fund the overstretched services. Just a thought, maybe I am wrong.
Its analysis found private sector rents in England have gone up by three times as much as wages since 2010 - apart from in the north and East Midlands. While in London, costs have risen by 24% - eight times the average wage increase. The answer is simple.....
🙄🙄 Waiting for the "welfare claimers are scroungers, and its their own fault, and nothing to do with the tories brigade" the tories hide the real unemployment figures (sanctioned by the DWP? Then you are classed as working not claiming) tories always have and will pick on the poorest and vulnerable. Easy enough to look up passed Tory governments and read headlines always the same cuts cuts and more cuts to the poorest
Can we please stop using the term ' reforms '. It's CUTS, nothing to do with reforming the system, just cutting the amount paid out and cutting the amount of those who can claim.
For once the BBC have an article that's correct!! The Tories are literally taking away any benefits from anyone they can and I know this . It's happened to do many people and we can't do a thing about it . Makes my blood boil !!
Always the same when there is a Tory government- think back to the last one. NHS in crisis and rough sleepers everywhere. People never learn from history
