Just because she's a public figure, doesn't mean she's not allowed an opinion! She didn't say ESPN thought trump is a white supremacist. It's HER opinion.
Wait, what is wrong with what she said? It's all the truth. He is indeed a White Supremacist, he does indeed surround himself with other White Supremacists, and he is unfit for the job. I'm sort of confused, did she spell something wrong that I missed?
Maybe I'm alone here, but this is America and she should be allowed to say whatever she wants on her private Twitter feed. If she had said it during an ESPN broadcast, that would be different. But what she says under her own name in her private time should be her business. Her mind doesn't belong to her employer. (Also, if a statement is factually correct, that is a valid defense for slander or libel.)
So what did she say that was incorrect? She is telling the truth. Trump lost his case in court when accused of discriminating against black tenants. That's just a fact. He is what he has been found guilty of, being a racist.
First, why is ESPN getting political? Second...seriously, calling the prez a white supremacist. I guess they got tired of calling him Hitler. Show a little class
Okay, let's rephrase this a little better so ESPN won't balk at her comments .... Trump refrained from denouncing the actions of the White Supremacists, he hired several cabinet members with known ties to hate groups, he spewed his own vile bigotry throughout his campaign, he was known to refuse occupancy to African Americans, he has made despicable comments about Mexicans and Muslims.... AND he's definitely unfit and an embarrassment as leader of our country!! So, why are her statements a problem? They seem fairly accurate to me!!!
espn should not have addressed it at all, it was a personal tweet, protected under the constitution, had she said something on the air, I'd see them possibly having a problem with it, but even if they did, shes protected by the constitution
This is why ESPN ratings are going in the toilet. They have become political. People turn on ESPN because they want to watch and hear about sports. They do it to get away from all the political BS.
Her actions were not inappropriate. He is a white supremacist and he is unfit for office. Like too many in media, ESPN "bosses" are a bunch of hypocrites to say the least.
Her actions were only inappropriate to your company's bigot enabling policy.
She was 100% correct. He is a white supremacist. He's admitted it.
It's on video
What's inappropriate ESPN?
It's the reason I don't watch your misogynist bigoted show
You had Mike Ditka and other racist ass clowns going off on Obama for years and never found that inappropriate
Your show is geared towards old white bigoted men
