Not the time and place for questioning why she was driving at a young age. The family and friends of this girl are hurting enough. It's still a very fresh wound and people should use a filter right now and not questioning or name blaming. Our town has a dark, heavy cloud over us and our community don't need negativity. All our hearts are broken.Positive vibes and prayers for her family 💕💕
For a small community were I live in Bonavista were this happen it made everyone sad and always say I love you to you kids it's never to late to say it or how old they are
It is very sad and no folks don't need to attack one another. On the other hand folks, it's illegal to operate under the age of 16, so yes, people question it. My sincere condolences ❤️
I don't know the family or the young girl that died..yes it may be illegal to drive a at underage but give me a break how many people drove one underage or did something silly that could of costed u your life...right now her family and friends are grieving...Im sure if her parents or guardian could turn back time they would..but we all know we can't.. so show respect for this family..I can't imagine what they are going through..
Wow - some people really need to give their heads a shake. Some of the comments here are disgusting. This is obviously a very difficult time for family/friends involved and pointing fingers will not solve anything. Obviously there are a lot of factors involved and there is no one person to blame. It was a very devastating and unfortunate accident but that’s just it - it was an accident. A young girl lost her life and many people’s lives are changed forever. How about showing sympathy for everyone involved? I’m sure if any of you were in their shoes you’d be hoping for the same. My thoughts are with this young girl’s family, and I just hope they find the strength they need for the tough days ahead.
I have been in this situation just recently when my little boy was hurt on a dirtbike. There are no words to express my condolences for this unnecessary loss from an accident. Put no blame on anyone, treasure memories 💕
So so sad. Thoughts and prayers to the family and her friends that were with her at the time. No judgement here at all. We all make mistakes and no one deserves to lose a child regardless of if she should have been driving or not. Shame on anyone for trying to make this family feel even worse than they do already.
Let's face it, if you live around the bay, you most likely have driven a quad, snowmobile or dirt bike on more than one occasion, well before the legal age. I know I sure did. Accidents happen, unfortunately. This is not the time nor place to be questioning the child's parenting. Praying for the little ones parents and family during this most difficult time.
ATV's are such a common site in many NL communities. This doesn't make them any safer. They are dangerous, powerful machines. Sincere condolences to all involved.
My deepest sympathy to her family, friends, their families and to the community of Bonavista. May she rest in peace and live in the memories of those who love her. God speed.
